(July 20, 2011 - Toronto, ON) Sony Music Entertainment Canada is proud to present new country music sensation Kira Isabella and her debut single "Love Me Like That." The 17-year-old released the track to radio July 4 and it was the second most added single at Canadian Country Radio (according to Mediabase Canada) after its first week. Kira also shot a dreamy video for the romantic summer track, which premiered exclusively this week on CMT and online at www.cmt.ca
"Love Me Like That" tells the story of innocent young love; from talking on the phone all night to being told you're beautiful by that perfect boy who wants to hold your hand. The video was directed by Sean Danby (Michelle Wright, Prairie Oyster) and shot in Toronto, ON this summer.
The Ottawa-native may have just graduated from high school but she already has a decade of music experience behind her. Kira has been unstoppable since her first recital at the age of seven when a fervent passion for belting out any song led her to enter every singing competition within driving distance from her hometown. Her charming stage presence, bubbly personality and natural talents won her the Rising Star Award at the Blyth Arts Festival, and after that victory Kira knew music was her destiny. Kira began dabbling in guitar and poetry writing, as well as a variety of music styles and she soon found herself hooked on the melodic stories of country music. Today, Kira continues to write country music and perform at every chance she gets. The single "Love Me Like That" is currently available on iTunes.
