  • Tour Kicks Off in Kingston this October with Special Guest Autumn Hill

New Album, Caffeine & Big Dreams, Released October 14

(Toronto, ON – August 12, 2014) Kira Isabella, Canada's reigning CCMA ‘Female Artist of the Year,’ has announced the schedule for her upcoming fall headlining tour, the SHAKE IT tour. The upcoming tour kicks off in Kingston, ON October 22nd, and will include 21 cities nationwide. Look for tickets to be on sale August 14th on www.kiraisabella.ca.

Isabella, fresh off of her top ten charting “Quarterback,” will feature all the hits from her #1 iTunes Country Album Love Me Like That, as well as material from her newest full length album, Caffeine & Big Dreams, scheduled for release this October 14th.

Ottawa-born Kira Isabella is Canada’s brightest young Country Music star and has toured with the likes of Carrie Underwood and Terry Clark. Her debut album Love Me Like That, delivered four hit singles including the smash “A Little More Work.” In 2012 Kira was nominated for a Juno Award and in 2013 Kira was crowned ‘Female Artist of the Year’ at the CCMA’s, just one year after her first CCMA win for ‘Rising Star.’

This new album underscores Kira’s personal and professional growth as an artist. Her first single demonstrates her maturation with the bold and powerful track, “Quarterback,” which tackles the heavy subject of date rape and cyberbullying. The 20-year-old songstress also delivers her signature sassy style on many of the tracks, including the latest single “Gone Enough.” Kira wrote the majority of songs on this album, but she also teamed up with some impressive songwriters including Chris DuBois, Marti Frederiksen, Bobby Hamrick, Jason Phelps, Rivers Rutherford and Deric Ruttan.

Following a landmark year in 2013 with CCMA and Juno Award nominations for Autumn Hill’s debut album, Favourite Mistake, the 2014 CCMA nominated duo (just announced July 16th), is set to hit the road this fall. Nationwide radio play for “Anything At All,” “Can’t Keep Waiting” and “Fire” spawned three chart-topping country hits, and lead to the duo making history as the first Canadian country act to cross over to pop radio since Shania Twain. Now, fans of their catchy country tunes, including their latest single, “If She Wants This Town,” will get to experience the band’s unforgettable live show on the 21 date national tour that will bring the duo, made up of Calgary’s Tareya Green and Toronto’s Mike Robins, to towns across the nation.

As the official Sponsor of the Shake It tour, Country Music Television, CMT is proud to be promoting two of CMT’s Next Generation artists, Kira Isabella and Autumn Hill. Watch out for their rotation on the Chevy Top 20 and make sure to visit www.cmt.ca for tour information, contests and more.

Nashville, TN — (November 20, 2013) —HitShop Records President Skip Bishop announces the signing of an exclusive recording agreement with award winning star and rising country singer, Kira Isabella, for her U.S. music debut.

Kira, a Canadian native, is a relentless performer, attributing the start of her music career to a recital at the young age of seven. Her dreams of stardom have begun to take shape as she spent this fall opening for superstar Carrie Underwood on her Blown Away Tour in the market. Kira’s love of music, influenced by the likes of Shania Twain and Faith Hill, and real world experience venture far beyond her 20 years, having signed with Sony Music Entertainment Canada in 2009. In 2012 she won the “Rising Star” award at the Canadian Country Music Awards, and went on to earn the coveted “Female Artist of The Year” award this year. Kira is now poised to embark on her U.S. music debut.

"We have watched Kira's meteoric rise to Canadian superstardom! Her numerous top-ranked awards and consistent radio smashes speak for her tremendous talent,” exclaims Bishop. “She is a lovely and a remarkably gifted young vocalist and performer. The stage is set for Kira to begin her U.S. Country radio journey and we are so honored that she chose HitShop as her Nashville home!”

Kira celebrates the signing and the season with a special holiday treat for fans. “A Country Boy For Christmas,” written by Kira along with Jason Phelps, was just shipped to country radio and is available on iTunes on November 26th.
